What To Do With Your Old, Unused Cds

CDs and DVDs were an unknown format 20 years ago, shortly after they flooded our homes. Essential for watching movies, listening to music or storing photos, they served almost everything. Little by little, new storage technologies have made them almost disappear from our daily lives.
Now we all wonder the same thing, how do we recycle those millions of CDs and DVDs that we have at home? They are a big problem since there is no separate collection, we don’t really know how to recycle them.
CDs appeared as a solution that infinitely improved the storage capacity of old floppy disks, but today they have become a big problem for the environment. Materials such as polycarbonate, aluminum, lacquer and colorants, synthetic and non-biodegradable materials, highly polluting, are used for its manufacture.
Polycarbonate is a material that can be recycled, in fact it is used to make the lenses of many digital cameras, glasses, office material housings, telephones, remote controls and various utilities for the automotive sector such as headlights, handles and dashboards of cars. But as we said, its selective collection does not exist or is very scarce.
For these reasons and before you throw them into the garbage can, here are 25 ideas to give it a little more life but in another use, I hope you like them.
